Stupid New Media module, every week I have to submit a 100-word reflection, from week to week my grades for the stupid exercise fluctuates about the average / median I just cannot understand you know why I just cannot break past that barrier.

But consolation, week 5 I got 0.85 marks out of 1.5, average was 0.94, median was 1.0 and I was already within 25th percentile. So the standard deviation quite low, that means a lot of other people will be getting the same marks as me Nonetheless I am still highly frustrated by my journalistapos;s block I only got in the first quartile once though.

Oh but wait That means on the bell curve Iapos;ll be competing with of people who will be damn near me Argh I hate New Media. CNM you can join my list of most disliked subjects. Subjects I cannot imagine anyone else would want to take.

Ok tomorrow someone will celebrate with me because I got my first A+ ever ever ever in uni For my very first lab report. Itapos;s titration so I donapos;t see how anyone could do badly but IDONapos;T CAREIT ISSTILLANA+

Ok once again I must emphasise how badly I am doing in school so that you all donapos;t think my head is getting swollen, 4 weeks of school left and Iapos;ve yet to catch up. On lots of things. Like chemistry and maths and new media and southeast asian studies and chemistry and maths and etc etc etc going mad already, mad but still very lazy, proves that Iapos;m very mad after all.

Catch-22. I realise quite few people know what it really means. If youapos;ve read the book youapos;ll see it somewhere in the upper half which is thick, not terribly entertaining, To Kill A Mockingbird is loads better. Catch-22 is about this group of pilots during WWII, there is this pilot who wants out, so he went to see his superior to tell him heapos;s quitting Unfortunately for him there is this clause, clause 22, in the contract that states, no out unless on basis of lunacy.

This guy, he says heapos;s going mad because flying a war planeapos;s so dangerous and risky. But his superior says that since he recognises danger, he is not crazy and he still has to fly. If he wants to prove that heapos;s crazy, he has to show that he does not recognise danger by continuing to fly. In the end he has no choice but to go on serving the air force, itapos;s a deadlock, a Catch-22.

We are all in Catches-22.
